1. General Provisions
By purchasing or renting from Air Cooler Dubai, the customer (Buyer/Hirer) agrees to these terms. All transactions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
SECTION A: SALES TERMS
1.1 Warranty Policy
- Standard Warranty: All new units come with a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects in material or workmanship, starting from the date of the invoice.
- Coverage: The warranty covers the motor and internal components. It does not cover external cabinets, buttons, water filters, wheels, or damage caused by sand/dust accumulation.
- Exclusions: Warranty is void if the unit is tampered with, repaired by unauthorized persons, or subjected to incorrect voltage (e.g., using poor quality extension cords).
1.2 Returns and Refunds
- Defective Products: Per UAE Consumer Protection Law, if a unit is found to have a manufacturing fault, the customer is entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund within 7 days of purchase, provided the unit is in its original packaging with all accessories.
- Change of Mind: Returns for non-defective items are at the discretion of Air Cooler Dubai. If accepted, a 15-20% restocking fee may apply, and shipping costs are non-refundable.
SECTION B: RENTAL TERMS
2.1 Rental Period and Payment
- The rental starts from the moment of delivery/setup and ends upon the agreed collection time.
- Late Returns: If the unit is not available for collection at the agreed time due to the Hirer’s fault, an additional daily rate will be charged.
2.2 Hirer Obligations (Power & Maintenance)
- Power Supply: The Hirer must provide a stable 220-240V power source within 5 meters of the unit. Air Cooler Dubai is not responsible for unit failure due to inadequate power supply or voltage fluctuations.
- Supervision: Rented units must be operated on level surfaces and should not be moved from the delivery site without written permission.
2.3 Damage and Security Deposit
- Condition: Units are tested upon delivery. The Hirer must return the equipment in the same clean, working condition.
- Liability: The Hirer is responsible for any damage (beyond normal wear and tear), loss, or theft during the rental period.
- Charges: Repairs for damages caused by misuse, water spills on electrical parts, or physical impact will be invoiced to the Hirer at current market rates for parts and labor.
SECTION C: COMMON TERMS
3.1 Delivery and Force Majeure
- While we strive for “Same Day Delivery,” Air Cooler Dubai is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or government-imposed restrictions.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services during extreme weather events or public holidays.
3.2 Limitation of Liability
Air Cooler Dubai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (such as loss of business profit) arising from the use or inability to use our products.
